•Build and lead the team through hiring, training, retention, counseling, and shift coaching.
•Check daily production orders to ensure customer order fulfillment, accurate shipments, record keeping, inventory rotation, and proper product coding.
•Ensure all workstations on the line are staffed before production startup.
•Verify machinery is performing and workstations have passed USDA inspection requirements.
•Promote workplace safety daily and through monthly safety meetings; oversee processing operations and coordinate with other supervisors to solve problems.
