Key Responsibilities

  • •Design, install, operate, and maintain cathodic protection equipment and other corrosion control facilities on high-pressure natural gas pipeline systems.
  • •Conduct corrosion tests, inspections, measurements, surveys, and evaluate collected data to ensure effective operation of corrosion control facilities.
  • •Prepare written documents such as action plans, closure reports, technical papers, site-specific plans, bid packages, annual corrosion reviews, budgets, and related emails.
  • •Compile corrosion control data into the American Innovations Pipeline Compliance System software program and support compliance with regulations, standards, and company procedures.
  • •Perform coating evaluations for atmospheric corrosion control and prepare mitigation plans; assist with regulatory and company inspections/audits.

Key Requirements

  • •Associate’s degree in Applied Science or a two-year technical degree preferred (equivalent skills and work experience considered).
  • •Must be able to withstand extreme weather conditions and work safely on corrosion control/pipeline integrity activities.
  • •Must be able to respond to after-hour callouts and may be required to carry a communication device.
  • •Ability to effectively organize, plan, prioritize, document, and complete work with minimal supervision.
  • •Strong computer skills (MS Word, MS Excel, etc.) and ability to gather and analyze cathodic protection data using electronic test equipment.
