Key Responsibilities

  • •Understand customer requirements for switchboard bus layouts and prepare 3D models in Autodesk Inventor, including finalizing mechanical BOMs and releasing drawings/BOM in ENOVIA.
  • •Interpret electrical schemes and wiring (including SLD and symbols) and act as Mechanical Tech for assigned work and ECR/ECO coordination with the Pune team.
  • •Develop busbar assembly models and drawings and BOMs for the switchboard product line, including special fabricated parts using ACAD and 3D CAD modeling.
  • •Release and manage engineering change documentation (ECR/ECO) and load manufacturing information into ENOVIA via Plant Order Manager for internal and external retrieval.
  • •Coordinate with plant mechanical technician teams, support assembly teams with process/information quality issues, and deliver tasks on schedule while driving continuous improvement to meet project KPIs.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
  • •4-6 years of experience in panel and bus designs (MV/LV).
  • •Hands-on Mechanical design experience for LV electrical distribution equipment (switchboards/panelboards, MCC/PCC panels).
  • •Experience with AutoCAD and Autodesk Inventor for 3D modeling and mechanical drawings/BOM work.
  • •Knowledge of IEC/UL standards and proficiency with PLM/ERP tools (e.g., ENOVIA and related Eaton systems).
