Serve as a customer-facing Solutions Architect to help financial services teams adopt Databricks’ Data Intelligence Platform. •Partner with the sales team to help customers understand how Databricks solves their business problems.
•Provide technical leadership for customers to evaluate and adopt Databricks.
•Consult on big data architecture, execute proof of concepts, and validate integrations with cloud services and third-party applications.
•Build and present reference architectures, how-tos, and demonstrate applications for customers.
•Promote open source projects (Apache Spark, Delta Lake, MLflow, and Unity Catalog) through meetups, conferences, and webinars, and travel to meet customers in your territory.

Salary: USD 180,000 - 247,500 annually

Key Requirements

•7+ years in a customer-facing pre-sales or consulting role, preferably with big-data technologies for data engineering and big-data analytics challenges.
•Experience designing and architecting distributed data systems.
•Comfortable programming in and debugging at least one of: Python, SQL, Scala, Java, or R.
•Experience building solutions with public cloud providers such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
•Experience with data engineering and data warehousing technologies (e.g., Spark, Hadoop, Kafka; SQL, OLTP/OLAP/DSS) and an undergraduate degree or higher in an engineering or mathematics discipline.
