Key Responsibilities

  • •Feeds, waters, vaccinates, and performs animal husbandry tasks including basic veterinary procedures.
  • •Processes piglets, including injecting medications, castrating, docking tails, and ear notching.
  • •Sanitizes and washes farm areas using high-pressure equipment; supports barn, office cleanliness, and laundry duties.
  • •Moves animals and helps maintain efficient animal flows while supporting accurate production records and department documentation.
  • •Treats sick animals using appropriate pharmaceuticals and follows standard operating procedures, animal welfare policies, and safety/biosecurity requirements.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 16.75 - 18.75 hourly

  • •Ability to perform hard physical labor and work around livestock environments.
  • •Previous livestock handling helpful.
