Provide technical solutions for a highly visible enterprise environment by maintaining and upgrading Tandem NonStop systems to ensure 24x7 uptime and secure operations. Lead Guardian OS and major software release planning and implementation, assess and configure platform security, and support Tier 2/3 infrastructure issues. Monitor performance, run capacity and performance analyses, and drive continuous improvements across NonStop servers and supporting tools such as Splunk, Prognosis, and Moogsoft.

Key Responsibilities

•Maintain and upgrade existing NonStop systems to ensure 24x7 uptime, including client connectivity.
•Lead Guardian OS and network release planning and implementation for major software releases.
•Assess and implement platform security solutions and configurations.
•Provide Tier 2 and 3 support for the entire infrastructure.
•Identify performance bottlenecks, perform performance and capacity analyses, and run daily continuous improvements across NonStop and related servers.

Key Requirements

•6+ years of experience with Guardian OS, NonStop SQL, and NonStop hardware platforms.
•5+ years configuring systems within the NonStop platform end-to-end.
•5+ years working with SQL, Guardian/OSS, NonStop Web Services (SOAP), and XML or JSON.
•Bachelor’s degree in IT or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education, military, or work experience.
•Experience working with Nonstop Security (preferred).
