Drive CDL-equipped delivery trucks to transport equipment to loading points, ensuring safety and compliance with DOT regulations. You’ll coordinate with loading crews, manage paperwork, perform routine truck maintenance, and optimize loading patterns while adhering to a Monday–Friday schedule with possible overtime and on-call responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

•Operates vehicle according to applicable state and federal transportation laws and regulations
•Transports loads safely and in a timely manner over required routes, observing all traffic laws and safety regulations
•Maneuvers truck and trailer into loading/unloading areas and follows loading crew signals
•Assists with loading/unloading goods and using specialized equipment when needed; returns equipment to designated area
•Maintains signed invoices, bills of lading, and other required paperwork and delivers documentation to the shipping office when delivery is complete

Key Requirements

•Must hold a commercial driver's license (Class A CDL) or chauffeur’s license, depending on state, appropriate for weight of vehicle operated
•Must pass background and drug testing as required by federal and/or state DOT regulations

•Must be at least 21 years old to operate company vehicle
•Must be able to travel frequently
