Job Summary

Manage all aspects of poultry debone and slaughter processing to deliver maximum productivity and cost-efficient results while meeting customer specifications. Lead and develop production teams through subordinate supervisors, oversee safety, and ensure timely reporting. Partner with Quality Assurance to maintain a food-safe, sanitary environment aligned with USDA requirements and food safety programs including HACCP, SSOPs, and GMPs. Drive process improvements to maximize yields and throughputs while minimizing downtime, accidents, and turnover.

Key Responsibilities

•Oversee and assist Production Supervisors with supervising and training employees to achieve maximum quality and productivity performance.
•Manage the production process and employee performance, providing positive and/or corrective feedback.
•Promote safety throughout the assigned work area and follow departmental and company safety policies and programs.
•Ensure compliance with food safety programs, including HACCP, SSOPs, and GMPs, in coordination with Quality Assurance.
•Establish and adjust procedures to meet production schedules, efficiencies, and budget objectives; maximize yields and throughputs while minimizing downtime, accidents, and turnover.

Key Requirements

•High school diploma or equivalent and at least 4 years’ relevant experience in a similar manufacturing environment; or an Associate’s degree and at least 2 years’ relevant experience.
•Minimum 2 years of leadership and/or supervisory experience managing 20+ persons.
•Working knowledge of poultry processing, food safety regulations, OSHA guidelines, GMPs, and HACCP.
•Proficient knowledge of production processes, general line maintenance, and staffing.
•Proficient English communication skills (oral and written) and proficiency with Microsoft Office programs.
