Job Summary

Support the delivery of drainage projects for transportation and water assignments, working under close supervision within a busy Hydraulics and Drainage team. Help set standards and procedures for CADD and modeling work, and produce documentation that passes self-checks and quality control reviews. Build experience across assessment, concept, feasibility, preliminary and detailed designs, contributing to projects supported through long-term frameworks and design/build commissions.

Key Responsibilities

•Support designers and engineers in delivering drainage projects.
•Set standards and procedures for CADD and modeling work.
•Work on assigned tasks under close supervision, following clear instructions and established procedures.
•Perform self-checks of work products before submission.
•Participate in quality control reviews of documentation from equally or less experienced staff.

Key Requirements

•Minimum 2 years of experience in hydraulics and drainage (H&D) design related to highway or railway drainage, with a clear interest in developing a technical career.
•Strong command of Civil3D, including setting up standards and creating pipeline alignments, profiles, cross sections, grading, and surface operations.
•Experience with hydraulics and hydrology software packages such as HEC-RAS/HMS, StormCAD, Infoworks ICM, OpenRoads Designer, or 12D.
•Fluent in English (oral and written).
•Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil, Environmental or Water Engineering (or related field).
