Key Responsibilities

  • •Serve as an electronics technician on assigned projects, working independently or with a small team.
  • •Support federal agencies by migrating, upgrading, and installing physical security infrastructure at electrical substation facilities.
  • •Install electronic and technical security systems to DoD/DoS guidelines and requirements.
  • •Read, interpret, and draw electrical/electronic/electro-mechanical schematics and interpret building construction plans (blueprints).
  • •Perform maintenance, installation, troubleshooting, and testing of security wiring and power circuits using test equipment.

Key Requirements

  • •US citizenship required; must be able to obtain and maintain a customer clearance.
  • •2 years of hands-on experience installing, configuring, troubleshooting, and servicing IDS and PACS, plus IP video surveillance and other security systems.
  • •Current and valid Driver’s License; company vehicles may be required.
  • •Experience as a technician installing electronics/electrical security systems (including intrusion detection, access control, CCTV/security cameras, intercom, and low-voltage systems).
  • •High school diploma or equivalent, or military electronic/communications technician training (or 5+ years technical experience installing electronics/electrical systems).
