Key Responsibilities

  • •Design, embed, and continuously improve the programme risk management framework to support governance and informed decision-making.
  • •Lead risk reporting to governance bodies, support assurance activities, and provide expert guidance on complex or emerging risks.
  • •Oversee identification, assessment, and management of complex and emerging risks across the organisation, including risk-informed decision-making throughout the project lifecycle.
  • •Maintain and govern programme-wide risk registers, ensuring strategic risks and mitigation actions are captured, escalated, and monitored.
  • •Lead risk workshops and capability-building initiatives; conduct periodic risk assessments and audits to identify issues, gaps, and improvement opportunities.

Key Requirements

  • •A Level 8 degree (or equivalent) in a relevant discipline such as Project Management or Business Administration.
  • •Strong project management capability to plan, coordinate, and deliver projects from initiation through completion.
  • •Proven ability to engage, influence, and manage relationships with stakeholders including customers, regulatory bodies, and internal teams.
  • •Proficiency with document management systems (DMS), databases, and tools such as Microsoft Office and SharePoint, plus specialised document control software.
  • •In-depth understanding of project management principles and methodologies to ensure document control supports project objectives.
