Job Summary

Own data center asset tracking and recovery for fixed assets globally through end of life, including dispositions, transfers, and cycle counts. Lead accounting and cost modeling for data center infrastructure, capitalization and depreciation policies, and lease accounting under ASC 842. Strengthen controls and support GAAP/SOX compliance, SEC reporting, and IPO readiness while partnering with Manufacturing, Supply Chain, FP&A, Deployment, Infrastructure, and Engineering to improve scalable processes and systems.

Key Responsibilities

•Partner with Supply Chain operations to define asset tracking policies, procedures, and internal controls; drive process improvement in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
•Own accounting and cost modeling for data center fixed assets (AI compute systems, servers, networking, power, cooling), including capitalization, useful lives, depreciation methods, and impairment assessments.
•Lead periodic physical inventory and ensure asset records are verified and updated; develop and monitor asset accounting processes for transfers, cycle counts, and dispositions.
•Own end-to-end lease accounting under ASC 842, managing lease identification/classification, lease close activities, lease system of record updates, and lease-related disclosures and audit/SOX compliance.
•Ensure compliance with GAAP/SOX/internal policies and support SEC reporting and external reporting readiness, including ad-hoc analyses and cross-functional initiatives.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Master’s preferred).
•CPA or CMA strongly preferred.
•5+ years of combined experience at a Big 4 accounting firm and in manufacturing, hardware, or infrastructure-intensive environments.
•Strong knowledge of GAAP, costing methodologies, and fixed assets policies and procedures.
•Demonstrated experience automating processes, with exposure to asset tracking solutions and ERPs such as Oracle and NetSuite.
