  • •Manage the movement of vehicles into and out of the Inspection Center safely while meeting production and quality goals.
  • •Oversee day-to-day team activities; identify strengths/weaknesses, areas of opportunity, and actions to improve performance.
  • •Engage assigned team with coaching, development, performance management, feedback, and clear communication of expectations, performance measures, and goals.
  • •Prevent and resolve conflict; monitor and ensure adherence to systems, policies, procedures, and performance standards.
  • •Review and approve mechanical and physical defects, train associates using quality control standards to minimize re-checks/rework and delays, and partner with the General Manager on repair versus reject decisions based on estimated cost and overall vehicle quality.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or GED equivalent and must be at least 18 years of age.
  • •Experience using computers.
  • •Demonstrated functional expertise in one or more areas of Carvana’s reconditioning process, including understanding current reconditioning processes and lean principles.
  • •Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (no DUIs and no more than two moving violations in the last 3 years).
  • •Ability to meet physical and work-environment requirements, including lifting up to 60 pounds and standing for extended periods; must be able to work overtime and on weekends.
