Key Responsibilities

  • •Operate automatic tapping, drilling and/or reaming machines and CNC machines to perform close-tolerance work.
  • •Position parts into chucks/fixtures, initiate machine cycles, and remove machined parts.
  • •Regularly gauge and/or visually check castings using manual gauges and calipers and follow established procedures.
  • •Read and interpret information on screen or blueprints to adjust machines using basic math and CNC/PLC controls.
  • •Maintain a clean work area using 5-S and complete recordkeeping/clerical tasks, while reporting mechanical malfunctions and irregularities.

Key Requirements

  • •High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
  • •Must be able to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship now and within the future.
  • •1 year of experience in a manufacturing setting.
  • •Ability to use precision gauging instruments and apply basic math skills to measure with precision tools.
  • •Ability to stand/walk 8–12 hours and lift up to 50 pounds; follow safety regulations and lockout/tagout procedures.
