Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, troubleshooting, and system modifications for Thales In-Flight Entertainment (IFE) systems.
  • •Diagnose and resolve technical issues to minimize aircraft downtime and operational impact.
  • •Accurately document and clear airline logbook discrepancies related to Thales systems in a timely manner.
  • •Document maintenance activities daily using established procedures and submit detailed reports to the Supervisor of Maintenance.
  • •Support airline customers by ensuring maintenance activities follow company policies, procedures, and applicable regulatory requirements while maintaining FAA and internal quality compliance.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or GED plus a valid FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) certificate and ability to meet 14 CFR 65.83 recent experience requirements.
  • •Must obtain and maintain airport security requirements (including SIDA badge, customs clearance as required), pass a 7-year background check with fingerprinting, and complete a pre-employment drug test.
  • •Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment; position is not eligible for visa sponsorship or assuming future sponsorship.
  • •Strong avionics/electronics knowledge to read and interpret blueprints and wiring diagrams, and perform crimping and soldering to aviation standards.
  • •Ability to troubleshoot issues, analyze data of moderate scope, document maintenance activities daily, and communicate technical information in English under pressure.
