Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop and execute Visa’s proactive storytelling agenda, articulating growth narratives across markets, products, and business lines.
  • •Support financial communications, including quarterly earnings and investor-adjacent messaging, in partnership with Investor Relations, Finance, Legal, and other milestones.
  • •Draft and refine communications materials such as press releases, executive talking points, media pitches, and Q&A documents.
  • •Lead direct media engagement by pitching, briefing reporters, and building relationships with financial, business, and trade press.
  • •Partner to measure impact and continuously improve processes, tools, and approaches for data storytelling and proactive media engagement.

Key Requirements

  • •10+ years of work experience with a Bachelor’s degree, or 8+ years with an Advanced degree (e.g., Masters/MBA/JD/MD), or 3+ years with a PhD.
  • •10+ years of corporate communications experience, ideally in a large global matrixed organization.
  • •Proven experience developing and executing financial communications strategy, including earnings or business-performance communications.
  • •Ability to translate complex financial and business data into clear, compelling narratives.
  • •Hands-on media relations experience, including pitching and placement with business, financial, and trade press; strong writing and editing skills.
