Cost Manager role focusing on delivering end-to-end cost management for construction projects, from pre-contract estimates and cost planning to post-contract variance handling and value engineering support. Key Responsibilities

•Possesses in-depth knowledge of pre-contract and post-contract cost management services and oversee estimating, rate analysis, and cost planning including presenting final cost plans.
•Lead tendering and procurement activities: managing pre-qualification, tender list, preliminaries, tender analysis, tender reports, and contractual documents.
•Manage post-contract cost variances and support change control processes, referring major changes to the reporting manager.
•Produce monthly post-contract cost reports and support presentation to the client; provide inputs to Value Engineering and interface with client and other consultants.
•Collaborate to improve cost management procedures, templates and products; ensure knowledge is captured in the internal database and mentor Assistant Cost Managers.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in Cost Management, Quantity Surveying, Construction, Engineering, or a related field; Master’s degree is a plus.
•Minimum 5 years’ experience in cost management or construction projects (e.g. cost manager, construction manager, procurement, project manager, vendor, consultant etc.).
•Strong understanding of quantity surveying, tools, and methodologies.
•Native-level proficiency in (local language), Business-level proficiency in English.
•Proficiency in Cost-X or equivalent cost estimation software.
