Key Responsibilities

  • •Set up equipment by loading and unloading robotic shot peening work centers.
  • •Follow part process techniques, operation sketches, and special handler instructions for shot peening and airflow/intensity/pressure settings.
  • •Work with process technicians to optimize machines and produce quality parts while monitoring and improving automated-line efficiency.
  • •Read OP sketches and work instructions to identify requirements and minimize/mitigate downtime using the ANDON system.
  • •Maintain production and quality levels, departmental equipment, safety practices, good housekeeping, and support 5S/standard work development.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma with at least one year of relevant manufacturing experience.
  • •Strong PC skills and the ability to understand written work instructions.

  • •Must be eligible to work in Canada and meet requirements under ITAR and CCGP.
  • •Preferred: experience operating an overhead crane safely.
