Job Summary

Lead Stripe’s Regional Enablement Platform (REP) to validate and operationalize new region launches at global scale. Define evidence-based readiness for traffic migrations and failovers, build validation systems that replay production paths, and turn results into CI/CD gates, operator workflows, and actionable fixes. Drive cross-functional delivery across Core Infrastructure and product teams, mentor senior engineers, and help establish a Bangalore technical bench with cross-region influence across AMER, EU, and APAC.

Key Responsibilities

•Define evidence-based readiness criteria for regional launches, traffic migrations, and failovers using repeatable patterns.
•Proactively identify and mitigate risks on critical payment paths using system data to validate impact.
•Lead end-to-end cross-functional delivery for new-region infrastructure, including safe behaviors for remote control planes.
•Build reusable validation tooling to accelerate infrastructure integration and reduce high-priority blockers.
•Develop and communicate REP’s multi-year technical strategy with quarterly milestones and success metrics.

Key Requirements

•BS or MS in Computer Science or an equivalent field.
•12+ years of professional experience in software or infrastructure engineering.
•Proven track record leading complex, cross-team infrastructure projects with high reliability and scale.
•Strong background in distributed systems, platform engineering, or backend infrastructure with a focus on operational safety and correctness.
•Experience with one or more major cloud providers (AWS, Azure, OCI, or GCP) and reliability/security optimization of distributed systems.
