Key Responsibilities

  • •Define evidence-based readiness criteria for regional launches, traffic migrations, and failovers using repeatable patterns.
  • •Proactively identify and mitigate risks on critical payment paths using system data to validate impact.
  • •Lead end-to-end cross-functional delivery for new-region infrastructure, including safe behaviors for remote control planes.
  • •Build reusable validation tooling to accelerate infrastructure integration and reduce high-priority blockers.
  • •Develop and communicate REP’s multi-year technical strategy with quarterly milestones and success metrics.

Key Requirements

  • •BS or MS in Computer Science or an equivalent field.
  • •12+ years of professional experience in software or infrastructure engineering.
  • •Proven track record leading complex, cross-team infrastructure projects with high reliability and scale.
  • •Strong background in distributed systems, platform engineering, or backend infrastructure with a focus on operational safety and correctness.
  • •Experience with one or more major cloud providers (AWS, Azure, OCI, or GCP) and reliability/security optimization of distributed systems.
