Key Responsibilities

  • •Assist licensed/certified staff in preparing specimens (e.g., blood tubes, tissue) for testing.
  • •Receive and deliver specimens to the appropriate workflows and labs while considering turnaround time.
  • •Maintain accurate physical and electronic sample storage, disposal, and inventory organization.
  • •Accurately enter patient data into the Laboratory Inventory Management System (LIMS) and prepare samples for shipment.
