Job Summary

Design physical layouts for memory, I/O, and standard cells within the Library Group, applying layout guidelines and new process rules to achieve quality results. Own timeline and floor-planning, complete layout and verification (LVS/DRC/ERC, Antenna, Electro Migration) within schedule, and quickly ramp on new methodologies. Support chip integration and documentation of layout flows, with opportunities to lead or train junior engineers.

Key Responsibilities

•Apply layout guidelines (standard cells, I/O memories), new process rules, and technical requirements for quality layout.
•Plan and schedule timelines and perform layout floor-planning.
•Complete quality layout and verification within the planned schedule without supervision for experienced engineers.
•Get up to speed on new methodologies, contribute ideas, and communicate effectively with the library team.
•Lead or train junior engineers and support technology reviews by compiling documentation of layout methodology, flow, and guidelines.

Key Requirements

•Strong layout knowledge with 3 to 4 years of experience.
•Experience with Cadence layout and Cadence schematic capture, using CALIBRE and Hercules verification tools.
•Strong submicron process layout experience (e.g., 16nm, 7nm, 5nm, 3nm, 2nm, 1.4nm).
•Experience in digital (standard cell, memory, I/O) layout; analog layout experience is a plus.
•Experience with memory layout design and physical verifications including LVS, DRC, ERC, Antenna, and Electro Migration (CMOS).
