Job Summary

Serve as a Marine Engineering Submarine (MESM) subject matter expert to gather and manage the technical data needed to support the DSAT courseware and media development programme. Partner with Requirements, Courseware, and Media teams to define data requirements, interview technical SMEs, and contextualise training content to ensure the correct conditions and standards. Maintain and revalidate course technical data and champion Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) compliance and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

•Gather and understand technical data required to support the MESM courseware and media development programme.
•Work with the Requirements, Courseware, and Media teams to identify technical data requirements for DSAT courseware and media.
•Collaborate with courseware and media content developers to contextualise training and language and ensure correct conditions and standards are applied to the training solution.
•Work as part of the wider team responsible for the analysis, design, maintenance, review, and production of DSAT documentation and processes for customer training sites and organisations.
•Identify opportunities to exploit existing customer training methods and media, and maintain upkeep, update, and revalidation of course technical data.

Key Requirements

•Proven at sea experience as a Cat A Nuclear watchkeeper.
•Ability to interview subject matter experts to collate required technical data and align on findings through internal workshops.
•Experience working with customers and stakeholders to identify technical data required for courseware and media development and to source it via external routes.
•Competence in maintaining, updating, and revalidating course technical data.
•Demonstrated commitment to championing and fostering Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) compliance and continuous improvement.
