Ensure accurate, timely inpatient and outpatient billing in line with hospital policies and insurance guidelines. Verify insurance eligibility, approvals, co-payments, and policy validity to prevent claim rejections. Process daily charge postings, manage deposits, upload required documents to the EMR, and keep billing records audit-ready. Serve as a key point of contact for billing inquiries, clearly communicate financial responsibilities to patients, and coordinate with insurance, front office, and clinical teams.
