Key Responsibilities

  • •Receive product from press, stack and place on pallets; print pallet labels using job docket information and ensure correct loading for material handling.
  • •Review completed jobs for quality and accuracy; communicate problems/errors to operators and ensure finished product is error-free and correctly printed.
  • •Perform downtime duties including webbing the press, assisting operators, cleaning press areas, and maintaining safe work conditions.
  • •Carry out make-ready and roll stand tasks such as purging stacks/tables, changing impression rollers/stacker components, setting up doctor blades, and adjusting cylinders/pumps/inks/solvents/varnish.
  • •If applicable, operate forklifts for safe movement and loading/unloading; maintain lift equipment procedures and complete daily inspection paperwork and required documentation.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma (or GED) and one to three years related production experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • •Very good mechanical and physical ability to perform press-related tasks safely.
  • •Lift truck operators must have and maintain safety training for operation of company equipment.
  • •Ability to lift up to 60 lbs and perform repetitive functions, including standing, stooping, bending, reaching, and climbing as needed.
  • •Ability to rotate shifts and work in excess of 8 hours per day and/or 40 hours per week when necessary to meet production needs.
