Key Responsibilities

  • •Execute the monthly revenue close process, including contracts review, SSP analysis, contract modifications, multi-element arrangement accounting, and ASC 606 revenue disclosures.
  • •Prepare and review revenue journal entries, reconciliations, and flux analyses with clear audit trails.
  • •Partner with DealOps to assess revenue recognition implications prior to contract execution.
  • •Maintain revenue internal controls and document SOX-ready policies, procedures, and control narratives; coordinate with external auditors and own PBC schedules.
  • •Improve the revenue close process by reducing cycle time and building automated revenue schedules, reporting templates, and exception monitoring tools.

Key Requirements

  • •4-6+ years of progressive revenue accounting experience with demonstrated ASC 606 ownership in a SaaS/software environment.
  • •Experience across private and public-company (or public-ready/Big 4-audited) settings with strong documentation rigor.
  • •Hands-on month-end close ownership and audit process coordination.
  • •Strong internal controls knowledge, including SOX compliance and coordinating quarterly reviews and year-end audits.
  • •Advanced Excel/Google Sheets skills and experience with NetSuite, Salesforce, or comparable ERP/CRM systems; CPA license required.
