Job Summary

Drive a water truck with a 3,000-gallon capacity to transport water to and from construction destinations. Key Responsibilities

•Drive the water truck to destinations in a safe and efficient manner.
•Load the truck from a water tower or other designated source.
•Apply water to construction areas for dust control and to help achieve compaction.
•Maintain telephone or radio contact with the appropriate supervisor to receive delivery instructions.
•Maintain truck logs per state and federal regulations and follow OSHA/MSHA safety procedures.

Key Requirements

•Less than high school education; or two years of related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education or experience.
•Must possess a Commercial Driver’s License with Tank Endorsement (Class B).

•Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating/maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
•Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
