Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform detailed design of low to extra-high voltage substations, including one-line diagrams, schematics, wiring diagrams, SCADA/communications, station physical layouts, and cable/conduit details.
  • •Create structural, control enclosure, lightning protection, yard lighting, ground grid, foundation, and related plan/details and bills of materials.
  • •Conduct site visits and support QA/QC for deliverables to clients.
  • •Collaborate within the Power Delivery Substation team to complete complex, technically challenging designs and meet client standards.
  • •Participate in transmission line design for new lines, relocations, upgrades, and fiber optic additions as needed.

Key Requirements

  • •BSEE (BS Electrical Engineering) or BSEET (BS Electrical Engineering Technology) degree, preferably with a power option, from an accredited university.
  • •0–1 years of experience.
  • •Strong knowledge of electrical engineering to build on.
  • •Must be legally authorized to work permanently in the U.S. without work sponsorship.
  • •Strong English communication skills with good written and oral communication; track record of upholding workplace safety policies.
