Job Summary

Oversee and direct operations of an aggregates mining crew, including personnel, equipment, trucking, and materials. Supervise day-to-day crew work, ensure required daily reporting, and maintain accurate job records for schedules, progress, payroll, equipment, and safety inspections. Drive safety through toolbox talks and inspections, coordinate labor needs with the Plant Manager, and partner with Quality Control to meet specification requirements.

Key Responsibilities

•Oversee and direct operations of an aggregates mining crew, including personnel, equipment, trucking, and materials.
•Supervise and direct crew work to ensure proper placement of resources.
•Complete required daily reporting and maintain job records for schedules, progress, payroll, equipment, and safety inspections.
•Conduct weekly safety toolbox talks and internal safety inspections to ensure safety policies are practiced and enforced.
•Manage supervisory responsibilities such as planning/assigning work, coaching and providing feedback, and resolving complaints in a timely manner.
