Key Responsibilities

  • •Complete Pre-delivery Inspections (PDI) and perform routine preventative maintenance on Epiroc machines.
  • •Troubleshoot and repair Epiroc products using analytical skills in line with manufacturer recommendations.
  • •Ensure appropriate tools and equipment are on-site and properly maintained.
  • •Run diagnostics on malfunctioning equipment, determine likely causes, and initiate/execute repairs (including hydraulic and electrical repairs).
  • •Perform testing, document operating parameters, complete failure analyses/root-cause investigations, and support training for other service technicians as needed.

Key Requirements

  • •Basic computer skills and familiarity with Epiroc equipment, with mechanical aptitude including experience in industrial/commercial fluid power and low-voltage electrical control systems.
  • •Own hand tools and be able to expand your tool inventory based on the required tool list for your location.
  • •Complete required trainings (including TL1, PDI procedure, machine specifications, reading schematics within 3 months, and Safe Start Modules 1–5 within the first year).
  • •Maintain required MSHA training certificates (or agree to complete required training by the manager’s deadline).
  • •Maintain a valid driver’s license; a good driving record is required. Level 2/3 roles require a technical/trade school certificate or equivalent relevant experience (2–5 years for Level 2; 5+ years for Level 3).
