Key Responsibilities

  • •Own full-cycle accounting operations for the India subsidiary, including AP, AR, general ledger, and payroll accounting in QuickBooks.
  • •Process vendor invoices end-to-end, maintain vendor master data, reconcile vendor statements, and manage weekly payment runs.
  • •Generate and issue customer invoices, apply cash receipts, maintain the AR subledger, reconcile AR aging weekly, and manage collections and escalations.
  • •Coordinate with the US Controller on revenue recognition under ASC 606 and ensure accurate contract documentation and billing records.
  • •Lead month-end and quarter-end close for the India entity, prepare journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations, and support statutory compliance and external audits.

Salary: USD 100,000 - 300,000 annually

Key Requirements

  • •5–8 years of hands-on, full-cycle accounting experience owning AP, AR, collections, payroll entries, journal entries, and month-end/year-end close.
  • •Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce (B.Com / M.Com / CA Inter or equivalent) with CA qualification completed or in progress preferred.
  • •Strong working knowledge of US GAAP, including revenue recognition (ASC 606), accrual accounting, and financial statement preparation.
  • •Demonstrated proficiency in QuickBooks Online to manage day-to-day accounting operations.
  • •Experience supporting audits and maintaining audit-ready documentation.
