Key Responsibilities

  • •Use complex requirements from customers and vendors to create custom cooling solutions.
  • •Collaborate with adjacent thermal engineering teams to incorporate new commodities and custom thermal controls across Dell’s portfolio.
  • •Develop thermal validation tools, processes, automation, and infrastructure for a global team of system engineers.
  • •Create software and simulation tools to assess thermal feasibility of non-roadmap commodities.
  • •Contribute to feasibility studies, testing, and analysis of thermal solutions, subassemblies, and packaging for new and existing products.

Key Requirements

  • •Ability to work closely with cross-functional teams (mechanical, electrical, and software engineers) to develop integrated solutions.
  • •Bachelor of Science in Mechanical, Electrical, or Computer Engineering, preferably with focus on thermal design.
  • •Understanding of thermal engineering principles and practices within a professional discipline.
  • •Familiarity with thermal management of CPUs, GPUs, NICs, and other hardware.
  • •Scripting experience in Bash and/or Python.
