Key Responsibilities

  • •Directly manage and develop a team of hourly associates to achieve inspection-center production targets.
  • •Manage safe movement of cars into and out of the Inspection Center while meeting production and quality goals.
  • •Oversee day-to-day team activities, assess strengths/weaknesses, coach performance, and prevent and resolve conflict.
  • •Review and approve mechanical and physical defects of incoming inventory and lead decisions to repair or reject based on cost and vehicle quality.
  • •Train associates using quality control standards and ensure adherence to systems, policies, procedures, and performance standards to minimize re-checks and delays.

Key Requirements

  • •High School Diploma or GED equivalent and must be at least 18 years of age.
  • •Experience using computers.
  • •Demonstrated functional expertise in one or more areas of Carvana’s reconditioning process, with understanding of current reconditioning processes and lean principles.
  • •Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (no DUIs and no more than two moving violations in the last 3 years).
  • •Ability to lift up to 60 pounds, stand for extended periods, work variable schedules, and work overtime and on weekends.
