Key Responsibilities

  • •Participate in applied research and improvement of the search core algorithm across content understanding, user behavior modeling, and video understanding.
  • •Build and enhance search relevance by applying NLP/CV technology and leveraging LLMs to match relevant videos to search queries.
  • •Develop and improve recommendation approaches within search to increase personalization and better understand users.
  • •Research and develop retrieval, ranking, relevance evaluation, query understanding, and multimodal/LLM-based search methods.
  • •Translate research ideas into scalable product improvements and contribute to evaluation and iteration of search systems.

Key Requirements

  • •Currently pursuing or recently completed a PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, Information Retrieval, Natural Language Processing, Data Mining, Statistics, or a related technical field.
  • •Must have graduated with an applicable degree before onboarding.
  • •Demonstrated research or practical experience in areas such as search, information retrieval, ranking, recommendation systems, NLP, multimodal learning, large language models, data mining, or machine learning systems.
  • •Experience with large-scale retrieval, ranking, model training, evaluation, online experimentation, distributed systems, or production ML systems (preferred).
  • •Familiarity with relevance evaluation, query understanding, semantic retrieval, vector search, LLM applications, or multimodal search (preferred).
