Key Responsibilities

  • •Conduct thorough assessment of claims by gathering necessary documentation from insured, third party solicitors, branches, agents, brokers, etc., with a keen attention to detail in identifying potential fraud, ensuring timely and fair settlements in compliance with internal policies and regulatory guidelines (PIAM, BNM).
  • •Engage in timely and effective negotiations with third parties or their solicitors to achieve claims settlement, minimize the risk of litigation, and enhance cost efficiency.
  • •Collaborate with panel solicitors to strategies and achieve a timely, fair and reasonable settlement.
  • •Craft, develop and implement efficient settlement strategies including those for complex claims, emphasizing workflow enhancements to streamline claim closures.
  • •Collaborate with stakeholders including customers, brokers, agents, and both inter/intra department teams to maintain vigilance for fraud indicators and develop robust fraud prevention measures

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor's Degree in Law/Insurance/Biomedicine
  • •Minimum 2 years’ experience in related fields.
  • •Good policy understanding in terms of the policy conditions, exclusions etc.
  • •Good judgement with ability to make informed decisions.
  • •Excellent communication and negotiation skills
