•Lead a growing team of mid-level and junior engineers executing traffic engineering projects and tasks as part of larger efforts.
•Perform or oversee traffic engineering studies, including data collection, microsimulation model development/calibration (or deterministic models), traffic forecasting, and analysis of alternatives.
•Mentor and guide engineers day to day, coordinate workload projections, and collaborate with other discipline leads for workshare across Colorado and surrounding states.

•BA/BS with 8+ years of relevant experience (or equivalent).
•12+ years of experience in traffic engineering.
•Professional Engineer license in the State of Colorado, or ability to obtain within 6 months.
•Deep proficiency with Synchro/SimTraffic, VISSIM, and HCS (calibration/validation and applying model results).
•Experience with traffic safety analysis (Highway Safety Manual, traffic signal warrants, crossing control, and signing/pavement marking design).
