Job Summary

Deliver heavy equipment safely and efficiently from EquipmentShare’s rental facility in Sioux City using real-time access to fleet locations, work orders, and delivery details. Operate the vehicle per state and federal transportation laws, manage loading and unloading, maintain required paperwork, and perform routine truck checks such as oil, water, fuel, and air. Schedule is Monday–Friday with overtime after 40 hours and possible on-call needs.

Key Responsibilities

•Operate the vehicle according to applicable state and federal transportation laws.
•Transport loads safely and in a timely manner while obeying traffic laws and safety regulations.
•Maneuver trucks and trailers into loading/unloading areas and follow loading crew signals.
•Load and unload goods/materials using specialized equipment when warranted and assist with securing equipment for transport.
•Maintain required documentation (invoices, bills of lading) and perform routine service checks; report maintenance issues to the Shipping Supervisor.

Key Requirements

•Must hold a commercial driver’s license (Class A CDL) or chauffeur’s license appropriate for the vehicle weight.
•Must pass background and drug testing required by federal and/or state transportation regulations.
•Must pass a DOT physical (trucks driven are over 10k lbs).
•Must be at least 21 years old to operate a company vehicle.
•Strong interpersonal and customer service skills with the ability to speak professionally and courteously with customers and staff at delivery points.
