Job Summary

Lead the design and development of integrated thermal lubrication systems for an all-electric vertical takeoff and landing aircraft. Own system architecture, component specification, CAD model creation, and design documentation while collaborating with manufacturing and cross-functional engineering teams. Perform 1D modeling, thermal/fluid analysis, and CFD (StarCCM+) studies, then plan and execute testing, troubleshooting, and validation to drive improvements from concept through production.

•Lead design and development of integrated thermal lubrication systems from concept through production implementation.
•Develop system architectures and specify components such as pumps, filters, heat exchangers, and pressure relief valves.
•Create detailed CAD models, technical drawings, and system specifications, ensuring designs are optimized for production.
•Perform 1D system modeling and simulations and conduct thermal and fluid flow analysis, including CFD optimization using StarCCM+ preferred.
•Design and execute component and system-level testing, troubleshoot issues, and support certification testing documentation.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 172,000 - 225,000 annually

Key Requirements

•Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related technical field.
•Minimum 5+ years of experience in fluid systems, lubrication systems, or thermal management design.
•Proven track record of taking systems from concept through production.
•Proficiency in CAD modeling software (NX, Creo, or similar) and 2D drawings.
•Experience with 1D modeling tools such as GT-Power, AMESim, or MATLAB/Simulink.
