Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop and maintain manufacturing methods, operating sequences, and processes for assemblies.
  • •Coordinate release of product improvements and new products with design engineering and Operations using engineering change requests.
  • •Review ECOs for content completeness, bill of materials structure, and internal/external and organizational product impact.
  • •Estimate manufacturing costs, determine time standards, recommend tooling/process requirements, and apply DFx principles to reduce cost and improve quality.
  • •Manage ECR/ECO process for assigned groups or product lines, including root-cause analysis, corrective actions, ECO routing/board inclusion, and continuous improvement of the change process.

Key Requirements

  • •B.E/B.Tech in Mechanical/Manufacturing/Industrial engineering.
  • •5 to 8 years of experience in manufacturing engineering and engineering change processes.
  • •Knowledge of ECR (Engineering Change Request)/ECO (Engineering Change Order) processes, forms, instructions, and policies.
  • •Working knowledge of PLM and PDM tools (Team Center Engineering/Windchill and SAP).
  • •Working knowledge of AutoCAD and UGNX (UGNX is a must).
