Check and sequence accurate diagnosis and procedure codes using ICD-9/ICD-10-CM, CPT, HCPCS, and DRG. Abstract information from health records to identify comorbidities, verify documentation consistency, and compute correct DRG coding for inpatient cases. Assign appropriate Evaluation & Management (E&M) levels with correct CPT codes, ensure compliance with DOH guidelines, provide feedback on coding errors, and stay current with updated coding versions and directives.
