Key Responsibilities

  • •Plan, develop, and implement operational strategy for clinical, lab, and simulation activities to meet organizational and university partner goals.
  • •Establish systems to measure operational management and development activities.
  • •Monitor, measure, and report operational issues, opportunities, and progress against timelines.
  • •Manage and develop direct reporting staff to ensure qualifications, certifications, and required compliance are completed upon hire and annually.
  • •Secure and manage equipment and supplies; collaborate with the ABSN Director to ensure student delivery of services while integrating quality management, health and safety, legal stipulations, environmental policies, and regulatory compliance.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited college or university.
  • •Graduate degree in nursing from an accredited program (CCNE or ACEN) within a regionally accredited institution.
  • •Unencumbered LA RN license.
  • •Minimum 5 years of nursing practice with evidence of accountability for outcomes.
  • •Minimum 3 years of progressive leadership experience (including supervision) and 3 years of clinical teaching at the baccalaureate level or higher in nursing.
