Key Responsibilities

  • •Prepare and execute reactor outage fuel-handling activities, including disassembly/reassembly and core loading/unloading.
  • •Coordinate and communicate with OCC, Operations, Maintenance, contractors, Radiation Safety, crane operators, and containment specialists to ensure smooth critical-path work flow.
  • •Follow and help manage ALARA plans, and implement recovery plans when ALARA goals are challenged or exceeded.
  • •Support Emergency Response Organization (ERO) as assigned, including potential shift/off-hours coverage.
  • •Maintain FME prevention and refuel floor/spent fuel building cleanliness, perform FOSAR, and prepare work-package documentation (e.g., Job Hazard Analysis, Work Method Statement, Final Report).

Key Requirements

  • •Diploma and 2–3 years of relevant experience.
  • •2 years of PWR nuclear power plant experience at an operational site, or experience with APR-1400, OPR-1000, or CE NSSS.
  • •Experience in nuclear engineering functions such as Work Management or Outage Management (as applicable).
  • •Ability to prepare and execute fuel-handling outage activities according to Nawah standards and procedures.
  • •Demonstrated ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders and maintain safety and schedule adherence during outage work.
