Key Responsibilities

  • •Serve as the technical owner of the end-to-end spacecraft Test Platform environment used for integration, verification/validation, and manufacturing.
  • •Design and continuously improve Test Stations, Test Benches, and SIL/HIL environments, including associated EGSE/SCOE.
  • •Move from program-specific test setups to reusable, configurable, scalable Test Platforms supporting increasing spacecraft production.
  • •Provide technical direction and architecture/design review leadership, including root-cause investigations for complex failures.
  • •Partner with internal teams (Systems Engineering, AIT, Software, Avionics, Electrical, RF/Payload, Design Engineering, D2M, Industrial Operations, Infrastructure, and Program) to align platform development with program needs.

Key Requirements

  • •Own complex test station and SIL/HIL platforms from requirements and architecture through build, integration, commissioning, deployment, and operations support.
  • •Strong hands-on hardware/software/system integration across test environments.
  • •Strong practical experience with Linux environments, networking, compute infrastructure, and troubleshooting.
  • •Strong Python and scripting capability.
  • •Experience integrating hardware, software, instrumentation, embedded devices, and communication interfaces within test environments.
