Lead and execute internal audit engagements across key IT and business areas, partnering with senior audit leadership and client management to assess risk, plan scopes, and deliver audit results. •Participate in audit risk assessment, planning, and scope development, and execute large, complex audit projects as a critical team member.
•Lead specific project areas by supervising other team members and providing coaching when requested.
•Review IT systems to ensure effective and secure operations by identifying, assessing, and testing IT general application and automated controls and processes.
•Serve as in-charge for selected audit projects, overseeing planning, execution, closing activities, workpaper review, and report preparation.
•Report on the effectiveness of business unit internal controls, recommend improvements, and evaluate the adequacy and timeliness of management responses and corrective actions.

Key Requirements

•5+ years of relevant work experience with a bachelor’s degree, or at least 2 years with an advanced degree (e.g., master’s/MBA/JD/MD), or 0 years with a PhD.
•6-8 years of internal audit experience, preferably with a large financial institution or consulting firm.
•Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, management information systems, or a related field.
•CIA, CPA, CISA, or other relevant professional certifications highly desirable.
•Experience executing audits in complex operational and regulatory environments, including evaluating business-process controls and understanding IT security risks and controls.
