Key Responsibilities

  • •Support safety efforts in the department and participate in programs to promote a safety culture at the site.
  • •Execute mechanical work orders as scheduled and planned.
  • •Visually inspect and test machinery and equipment, dismantle defective machines, and install new or repaired parts.
  • •Operate machine tools (e.g., grinder, drill, saws) to repair or fabricate machine parts, fixtures, and tools.
  • •Maintain physical structures, clean and lubricate mechanical parts, keep accurate records, recommend improvements to reduce costs and improve reliability and safety, and enter production data into SAP-related systems.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or GED required; associate’s degree or equivalent plus one year of related experience, or 3+ years of mechanical manufacturing experience with trade school diploma/certification desired.
  • •Basic working knowledge of SAP Materials Management and Production Planning modules.
  • •Proficiency with Microsoft Office including Excel and Word Processing software (including Access).
  • •Ability to perform installation, maintenance, repairs, emergency response tasks, and execute mechanical work orders as scheduled.
