Key Responsibilities

  • •Drive performance and availability engineering for the platform.
  • •Build an engineering practice focused on earlier performance engineering in the delivery lifecycle.
  • •Partner with solution architects and software engineers to assess needs and design new capabilities.
  • •Design and run performance tests, troubleshoot problems, and identify risks.
  • •Ensure proactive identification of performance/availability challenges and implement recommendations to exceed capacity and availability requirements.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • •Intermediate to advanced knowledge of application architecture and high performance, highly scalable transaction processing systems.
  • •Experience solving complex performance and availability problems in real systems.
  • •Wide technical breadth including Java and gRPC.
  • •Experience with performance and monitoring tools (e.g., LoadRunner, JMeter, Gatling, Dynatrace, profilers, Splunk) plus Linux, Oracle/PostgreSQL, Kafka, Kubernetes, and AWS.
