Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop and maintain network systems features, contributing to functional/design specifications and building automated tests and test infrastructure.
  • •Collaborate with hardware and manufacturing teams to bring new hardware to market.
  • •Design software control interfaces and abstractions that enable integration with hardware drivers.
  • •Analyze, mitigate, and fix problems in customer networks alongside customer support engineers and customers.
  • •Mentor new and junior engineers and help resolve issues found by system test engineers.

Key Requirements

  • •BS in Computer Science/Electrical Engineering/Computer Engineering with 3 years of experience, or MS with 2 years, or Ph.D. with 1 year, or equivalent work experience.
  • •Knowledge of C or C++ and Python.
  • •Knowledge of UNIX or Linux.
  • •Experience working with low-level hardware components.
  • •Understanding of IP networking and/or distributed systems, plus applied software engineering principles and strong troubleshooting skills.
