Key Responsibilities

  • •Act as structural lead and engineer of record for substations, switchyards, and related electrical infrastructure projects (green and brown field).
  • •Perform engineering calculations and develop analytical models for structural steel and concrete design.
  • •Coordinate with project engineers/managers on workload forecasts, design schedules, and budgets for civil/structural activities.
  • •Develop and update group specific standards; create and maintain engineering drawings and technical documentation.
  • •Provide mentorship to other civil/structural engineers and support technical reporting, presentations, and specifications/contract documents.

  • •Experience in structural design for overhead and underground transmission & distribution systems.
  • •Experience with substation projects.

  • •Knowledge of applicable industry codes and standards (e.g., NESC, ASCE/IEEE, AISC, IBC, ACI, NEC) and ability to work in complex, multi-discipline programs.
