Job Summary

Define and drive the embedded software architecture for RISC-V-based networking accelerators, focusing on programmable packet processing and networking acceleration infrastructure. Lead end-to-end embedded program flows across SDKs, RTOS, firmware, compilation, packaging, signing, deployment, and loading. Collaborate across architecture, hardware, firmware, software, SDK, and compiler teams to establish common platform foundations, validate decisions with data-driven analysis, and translate product needs into long-term architecture plans.

Key Responsibilities

•Establish the vision, architecture, and roadmap for the embedded RISC-V networking accelerators software stack across NVIDIA networking platforms.
•Architect the end-to-end embedded program software stack spanning SDKs, RTOS, firmware, compilation, packaging, signing, registration, deployment, and loading.
•Lead the definition of interfaces, abstractions, and APIs for embedded programs.
•Build proofs of concept and guide technical investigations, validating architecture decisions using data-driven analysis.
•Identify long-term infrastructure gaps and translate product requirements into clear architecture plans and implementation priorities.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience.
•More than 5 years of direct experience in embedded software development or low-level software architecture.
•Extensive experience in system software, infrastructure, runtime architecture, or platform software for complex HW/SW products.
•Solid understanding of low-level software concepts including toolchains, compilers, binary formats, runtime loading, execution environments, performance optimization, and memory-conscious system building.
•Experience working across multiple layers such as architecture, firmware, SDKs, compilers, operating systems or RTOS, and host software.
