Key Responsibilities

  • •Coach students to build or advance careers in animation and CGI.
  • •Develop students’ core animation techniques and 3D modeling skills, including specialized topics like character design and storyboarding.
  • •Guide students through CGI production and post-production workflows, including animation software proficiency and animation direction.
  • •Support students with skill building, resume and cover letter review, LinkedIn review, networking strategy, and interview preparation.
  • •Provide guidance on salary negotiation and freelancing for independent work; set own hours/rates and host sessions virtually.

Key Requirements

  • •Significant professional experience in animation or CGI, including studio and/or freelance work.
  • •Prior mentoring or teaching experience coaching others.
  • •A clear, structured approach to helping students grow their craft and career.
  • •Experience covering core animation techniques and 3D modeling, plus related areas such as character design, storyboarding, motion graphics, rendering, and visual effects.
  • •Ability to guide students through CGI production and post-production workflows and animation direction.
