Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead the PMO organization and portfolio support teams across multiple healthcare payer portfolios.
  • •Establish consistent delivery standards for status reporting, RAID management, scope control, milestone tracking, dependency management, and action tracking.
  • •Coach project and program managers on delivery execution, governance, escalation management, and executive communication.
  • •Oversee SOW execution and drive capacity, utilization, demand planning, staffing alignment, and financial discipline in partnership with account leadership and Finance.
  • •Establish and continuously improve portfolio governance practices, including metrics/dashboards and modernization of PMO processes while maintaining contractual controls.

Key Requirements

  • •12+ years progressive experience in IT delivery, PMO, program/portfolio management, or delivery leadership.
  • •5+ years direct healthcare payer or health plan experience, including knowledge of claims, enrollment, provider/member, benefits, Medicare/Medicaid, compliance, and interoperability/healthcare operations.
  • •5+ years leading teams of 30+ professionals, including distributed onshore/offshore teams.
  • •Proven experience managing SOW commitments, capacity planning, utilization, staffing, financial performance, portfolio reporting, and delivery metrics.
  • •Strong understanding of Agile, hybrid and waterfall methodologies plus PMO delivery disciplines (RAID, risk/issue, dependency, milestones, governance, and executive reporting).
